Senior Analyst - Enterprise Program Management Office
 
  • 1 year fixed term
  • Based in Geelong
  • $128,601.00 + superannuation

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is an important role as it is responsible for the establishment and facilitation of project management processes to support the development and ongoing management of an optimised portfolio (programs and/or projects). You will provide portfolio, program and project support and reporting where required, which may include:

  • Program and portfolio reporting, pipeline management, risks & issues & dependencies.
  • Working with the EPMO Lead to provide assurance to key stakeholders that projects are being managed appropriately and properly, and highlighting any areas of concern. This may involve attending governance meetings.
  • Supporting the management of project resource accountabilities and tasks ensuring resource requirements are adequately aligned to project needs.
  • You will establish and maintain various standards and frameworks to ensure that WorkSafe’s projects are delivered to the highest quality.
  • You will act as a point of reference for internal and external stakeholders and project resources and provide advice pertaining to methods and toolset training across the business units where required.

Skills & experience

You will be flexible, agile and responsive with a passion to deliver outstanding business goals. To be successful within this role you will have significant experience (5+ years) from within an enterprise portfolio management office. Your consultative and supportive approach will see you highly regarded in this space.

  • Demonstrated senior experience from a similar role, including evidence of strong analysis, reporting and controls based work.
  • A strong understanding of project planning, benefits, budgeting, scheduling, risks and issues management, project execution planning, reporting tools and techniques is essential.
  • Excellent communication stakeholder engagement skills across varying levels. Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in taking complex concepts and presenting them in a way that is meaningful for your audience.
  • Demonstrated experience using Portfolio Project Management (PPM) tools.
