Senior Support Analyst

About the role

IT Shared Solutions (ITSS) is a collaborative division delivering IT services across WorkSafe & TAC landscapes.


The Senior Support Specialist provides a range of technical services supporting, maintaining, enhancing, designing, building and deploying applications assigned to their service.


  • Maintains application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
  • Prioritises and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
  • Contributes to the availability management process and its operation and performs defined availability management tasks.
  • Actively maintains knowledge in one or more identifiable specialisms.

About you

You are an agile and proactive operator, you have had experience working in a similar content services role or and are looking for an opportunity to broaden your skills and focus on the next stage in your career. 


To be successful in this role you will need:


  • Advance knowledge of BI Platform SAS, with working knowledge of OlikSense well regarded
  • Significant experience in administration support, developing and improving a complex, multi sourced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing business and other stakeholders to drive service management skills and the ability to influence
  • Experience in enterprise application systems analysis and development, including: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support with a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills to resolve issues and drive improvements in innovation and service quality.
