Commercial Administrator - Equipment & Related Services Team
 
  • Part time (3 days per week), fixed term until 31 December 2021
  • $73,187 per annum + superannuation (pro-rata for part time)
  • Geelong based role

About the role

An opportunity currently exists for a Commercial Administrator to join the Recovery Planning & Performance division in a part time capacity until December 2021. The Commercial Administrator plays a key role providing administrative support to the Commercial & Funding and other teams within Recovery Planning & Performance.

As Commercial Administrator, you will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including functional teams within Recovery Planning & Performance, Insurance Business Unit, ITSS and Procurement, as well as external equipment & service related providers and WorkSafe Agents.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Assess equipment requests, plans and invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with relevant process and approval requirements
  • End to end purchasing and administration for non-contracted equipment requests including identification of suitable supplier/s in accordance with health practitioner recommendations and negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value for money outcomes
  • Establish internal and external stakeholder relationships related to equipment provision including within the Insurance Business Unit, WorkSafe agents, CIP team, hospitals, treating health practitioners and equipment providers
  • Provide a high level of customer service and timely, expert advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the provision of equipment for injured workers, including maintaining and updating relevant policies and work practices
  • Administration support including coordinating internal and external meetings, drafting correspondence, document and distribute meeting agendas and minutes where required
  • Identify opportunities, make recommendations and implement improvements to processes, systems and work practices.

About you

You are an experienced administrator who is committed to providing an exceptional customer centric approach. Your communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are highly developed, and you have a passion for building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and clients. You are a team oriented person who enjoys delivering outcomes and supporting your team, with excellent time management, prioritisation and focus on meeting deadlines. Other skills and experience include:

  • Intermediate/Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
  • High level of keyboard accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar role/undertaking administrative tasks
  • You will also be able to interpret, communicate and provide support on policy and procedure, identify trends and anomalies, and coordinate the resolution of stakeholder issues.
