Impairment Benefit Analyst
 
  • $120,109 per annum + Superannuation
  • Full Time, 12 Month Opportunity
  • Geelong Based Location

About the role

The Insurance Business Unit of WorkSafe Victoria works to ensure claims are managed effectively and injured workers are returned to safe and sustainable work.

The purpose the Impairment Benefit Analyst is to work with and oversee the Agent Panel in relation to the management of impairment benefit claims. This is to ensure that impairment benefit claims are properly assessed in accordance with the AMA Guides and relevant legislation to ensure timely receipt of entitlement by workers.

  • Monitors agent performance against the performance measures and provides feedback on improvement opportunities or implementing of corrective plans.
  • Collating and analysing data to present to Team Manager and organisational stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance and support to Agents, internal and external stakeholders on impairment benefit claim management.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve performance and developing and implementing programs, policies and measures to address these opportunities.
  • Supporting all IBU teams in meeting the organisation’s performance targets associated with our critical measures.

About you

You are an Impairments expert who is looking for a challenge and to make a difference. You have a passion for assisting the Victorian community and are driven to provide the highest level of service.

  • You will be an experienced claims management professional with a working knowledge managing compensation work injuries and claims management.
  • You will be a clear communicator and have experience liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effectively translate policy into operational processes, procedures and practices to your target audience.
  • Assist in the facilitation, development & Implementation of AMA4 training for agents and AMA Victoria.
  • You will demonstrate flexibility, agility and responsiveness to support the achievement of business goals.
